another shinji loredump for spooktober, except this time with fairytale thieves slapped on top

actually managed to finish an entire day before the deadline! not the first time this happens but i have to celebrate

this one is more about sibling bond than romance i'll be frank with you. romance is kind of a joke because the entire premise of it is absurd. it's still there though

my sister said the ending where you eat your sibling is really unsettling which is to say hell yeah misson accomplished ✧

i meant to do a demo for this for nanoreno and then finish during otome jam but unfortunately march was not kind to me. that said - i still finished it during otome jam. and it is a Behemoth compared to my other stuff

the backdrop to this thing is a mirror heist, but the most important thing in an otome is obviously The Guys there's a quiet guy, a mute guy and a guy who can't communicate. these are three different guys. other guys include a detective (what's a good heist story without a detective), one who jokes around the whole time, one that has the actual good jokes in his route and two that are two. … I really wanted to write Anime Twins. there's no punchline this was the entirety of my intent. as a peace offering two of the other guys in that lineup are also twins but polar opposites

kaitou rousseau was a very fun little game; the guide i was following had a few mistakes but this is a children's game that's kind of a dumbed down ace attorney so you can get through by clicking everything and it'll work eventually

i love this boy he's adorable

(people used to laugh at kaitou kid's civilian name being kuroba kaito, they never heard of kaitou rousseau, known at school as kaidou rusou)

so according to my numbering this is my 3000th scanned drawing, which isnt accurate since i have a bunch of pages that are numbered twice to fit in chronologically and hundreds of sketches i took a picture of then renamed to fit in with scanned ones, but still

anyway kalos was way more fun than i expected but yeah the lumiose city camera is a crime one cannot appreciate without actually trying to play those sections
