the sun also rises by ernest hemingway. it’s such an easy read (like the language is really simple and it’s not super long), but it really spoke to me. it’s so sad and honest and something about it really resonated with me.

omg i love amusement parks and i think my favorite ride are rollercoasters. i love the feeling when you drop, even if standing in line makes me anxious haha

green tea — where do you feel most at peace?

in the morning, after a work out and a shower, sipping a nice warm drink and having breakfast. or late at night after my day is over and all i have to focus on is watching a netflix show or face timing a friend. those are my most peaceful moments :)

sugar — tell me about your first crush

when i was little i used to live in california and i used to hang out with my mom’s best friend’s kids. they had two sons at the time and i had a crush on the older one. i was only three or four at the time but i used to follow him around like a lost puppy lmao

oolong — ideal romantic partner?

physically, i’m really attracted to people with curly hair and nice hands. i also personally like partners who are bigger than me, but it doesn’t matter too much. i also like tattoos A LOT.

but i think that emotional intelligence is probably one of the most attractive qualities a person can have (read: yuta from nct). like when someone is just mature and chill and hard working and minds their own business? fuck me up.

also funny people always get me! if you can make me laugh without being offensive or rude i think that’s so attractive.

i really love kpop (of course) but i also like western pop and rap. i like soft music, like indie pop and alternative i guess? i really don’t know much about music genres to be honest. if it slaps it slaps.

lady grey — favourite outfit?

ooh i really like this one! i think it has to be this dress i have. it’s either really dark blue or black (i think it’s black) and it has little flowers all over it and it’s just super pretty and i love it a lot! i usually wear it with white sneakers and a necklace :)

Bolin deserved to be written better and not be just the comic relief, he deserved a story arc concerning growth

I agree so much with this, especially in the first couple seasons. I feel like they did better at balancing the "humor" and actually giving him more of an actual character in Seasons 3 and 4. But in the first two seasons, they really came across like they needed to include comic relief in the main team and didn't know what else to do with him. Especially with some of the things they used him to make jokes about, which included playing him having his heart broken by his crush kissing his brother in front of him, and being in a very unhealthy relationship.

Cinnamon: What’s your favourite smell?

I have two favourites; the first is the ocean and shore, and I mean all of it, the salt, the sand, the rotting seaweed and what ever else is rotting at the time. It bring me a wild, untamed feeling that just cleans my soul.

And the second is sappy. My partner. Just the smell of him, of his skin. It makes me feel safe and loved.

Peach: Can you cook or bake?

Both, really well if I do say so myself. I like the freedom of cooking, and being able to experiment and create something amazing. (I have a killer rib recipe that I have created)

And I love the structure of baking, I make great bread, Cape Breton oatcakes, and cakes. I am a firm believer in making my own birthday cake, I have done it for years so I get exactly what I want. (This year was a Chocolate fudge cake with Whisky cream glaze)

Peppermint: Sweater weather or beach days?

Wait, there’s a difference?

My favourite time to go to the beach in on cool rainy days when a sweater is a must. But I will take my beaches any way I can. (I may be going this morning it’s only -5).

I also like all weather, something that confounds the retiree’s in the apartment building. They love to complain about the weather and my answer is always the same, rain, snow or what ever.

Dandelion: Have you ever tried to garden?

Have I!!. I love to garden. Once my family settled on to land again, gardens were the first thing my mom put at our new home, and to this day their home is landscaped beautifully, although we both are a bit wild in our gardening.

When my partner and I owned a home I had 12 gardens around our tiny property and I loved working in them. It’s one of the things I miss the most now we are renting again. But our apartment building had garden plots so I have a 4x8 patch of dirt to play in.

Chamomile: How would you describe your laugh?

This one is tricky! I have a lot of laughs. I often laugh in my head, since I have a twisted sense of humour and it’s gotten me in trouble (a lot). But when I am comfortable with the people I am with it can run the gambit. I snicker and snort and if something surprises me or I just let go, it’s head back and it fills a room.
