My area is about to welcome it’s first hurricane of the season. Fiona is going to rip the Martimrs a new one. I have been to the shore everyday, I am going again this afternoon and if I can safely do so I’ll be going again tomorrow.

Nothing charges this sea witch more then a storm coming ashore.

I have done my first Celtic knot in canvas and acrylic. Since it was a first I drew an older design on mine. I’m very proud of how it turned out.

We got a pretty amazing blizzard. 12cm of snow in 2 hours including lightening and thunder. We lost power for about 3 hours so I sculpted a snow chicken until the rain came back.

A personal update for my friends I have been neglecting (I am so sorry! I have just been juggling so much).

My summer was flat out crazy, so busy with work that I hurt myself by August. I have started dating someone who is amazing and I am crazy about but there are other issues and I’m not confident it will last, which I’m trying to not believe that.

I’m looking for a new job. I’m back doing markets, to help a friend who has lost everything to Covid, and I’m struggling to move into the holiday season.

This Thanksgiving weekend (Canada) was the first holiday my partner and I celebrated together, it hurts that this year is different. By the end of this month all papers will be signed and my marriage will be officially over. The man who held my heart for 20 years has only spoke to to me about 10 times in nine months.

I’m not looking forward to December at all.
