This stylish tea trolley was originally designed by Josef Frank in the late 1930s. The rectangular panels in walnut and linoleum are carried by a rack in cast iron, creating a floating feeling. For a practical and convenient usage, Joseph Frank chose the durable material linoleum, which he framed in vibrant walnut and added a handle wound in pale leather. The trolley was resumed in Svenskt Tenn's range in the early 2000s.

The Finnish architect Alvar Aalto designed this tea trolley in 1936. The frame is of molded, laminated birch wood, the top tray has a linoleum tile surface, and the basket is of woven wickerwork. The strong visual impact of this special-purpose piece has made it famous in its time - and it is still manufactured today by Artek in Finland.
