Time for the next #mysterytea! When I found it, I immediately knew what it was, when I got it and that @katlakedavra gave it to me, still in the same beautiful tin. It's just that neither of us remember what it's called! I have googled till my fingers bled but noep. It was something to do with "autumn". It tastes like crisp fall morning, although I have a vague feeling that I've used this description before, it's awesome. It has tiny apple sprinkles. And roses. And apple pieces. And stuff! Anyway, My mind is a bit of a drifter, my memory not what it's been; I asked for advice from the gifter, and named it for her: Fairy Queen. Or Fedrottning, in Swedish. Next up, December 4. Today I tried a long forgotten rooibos with japanese cherry flavour. It was rich and warm as rooibos tend to be, with a hint of round sweetness. I don't drink rooibos very often nowadays, so I was surprised by how much I've missed it. The cup is from my childhood home, I think it once was my sisters... @tantenochfanten do you remember? Anyway, we both were crazy about horses, growing up. I think I started taking lessons somewhere around preschool, I'm not sure. I remember my first fave pony, though! A dark bay new forest pony called Bambino. I never grew out of ponies, even though I had a handful of larger horses as faves over the years. The last horse I took care of was also a brown new forest pony called Lady. She was like me: odd, sensitive, didn't like people. The other girls didn't like her because she was fussy and threatening, but I figured that patience did the trick. Slow, deliberate moves, and lot of snuggles. I wouldn't wanna be a riding school pony either. Her owner gave her up for a horse, and I quit riding due to developing allergies and insufficient funds (turned 18)... Gotta say, I really miss horses!
