#Thursdaythoughts as I was learning to teach my then young daughter, I read a lot about the work of Maria Montessori. I was impressed with her works and really learned a lot. I would like to think that it helped me in raising my daughter well. It also helped when I did freelance tutorials. I will cherish my teaching years, knowing it won't be the same anymore from hereon.

#Thursdaythoughts sharing another #quotesforteachers. Sometimes as an educator, we give too much of ourselves to our learners. But we can only do so much. My advice is to also care enough for oneself so there's more than enough left to recharge and teach more.

#Thursdaythoughts features another #quotesforteachers that I believe in. We impart a lot on the thinking of young learners. It's important we teach ourselves to be better people, so we could impart the same to our learners. I remember way back when I was still teaching, the best times were those when I was sharing to my students some life lessons I have learned.

As an educator, teach your pupils to think for themselves. That will be crucial for survival in these trying times.

भारत के भूतपूर्व राष्ट्रपति डॉ सर्वपल्ली राधाकृष्णन का जन्म ५ सितम्बर १९८८  को हुआ था और वो बहुत अच्छे शिखक भी थे एक दिन लोग उनका जन्मदिन धूमधाम से मनाने के लिए पहुंचे तो उन्होंने कहा ये सब करने की जरुरत नहीं अगर आप लोग मेरा जन्म दिवस असल में मानना चाहते हो | तो उस दिन को शिक्षक दिवस के रूप में मनाओ | जिससे हर शिक्षक को पहचान मिलेगी और मैं भी शिक्षक रहा हूँ मुझे ज्यादा अच्छा लगेगा | इसी उपलक्ष्य में हर साल हम ५ सितम्बर  को भारत में शिक्षक दिवस मनाया जाता है |

आज के दौर में तो शिक्षा एक व्यवसाय बन चूका और इसलिए हमे अब्राहम लिंकन के वो पत्र को पढ़ना चाहिए और हर शिक्षक को उस जैसा बनने की कोशिश करना चाहिए | क्योकि एक शिक्षक ही होता है जो सब कुछ बदल सकता है |
