“Tying into the modern world, imagine hypothetically that a police officer observes that most pedophiles happen to have small penises. He then proceeds to profile men who purchase Extra Small underwear in an effort to prevent child molestation. This, in turn, may actually help pedophiles evade profiling. Pedophiles may simply buy Extra Large underwear and then shrink it at home.”

“In the strain theory another big category of this is race. In the criminal justice system we see a greater amount of minorities and africans in the system.”

Why work is messing with me

I apparently (in addition to shitty nightmares) screamed "REMEMBER YOUR PEMDAS PEOPLE WE DIDNT TALK ABOUT THAT FOR A WEEK FOR YOU TO FORGET EXPONENTS GO BEFORE DIVISION" at K at about 2 this morning.

I can usually tell how a student will do on a paper after reading the first page.

This is both a blessing and a curse.

these papers are sooooo terrible-- like middle school quality-- but the students went out and interviewed their grandparents and its like... I can't give grandma and grandpa a C!!!!
