TIL (off topic)

I was heading to bed, and I saw one of my dog’s toys there. So, I pointed to it and said “Get your toy. Get it. Toy. There.” That sort of thing. But he was clueless. I’ve had him for ten full years, as of yesterday, and I’ve been trying to teach him “Toy” for much of that time. He also doesn’t understand when I point at things. On a whim, I pointed again and said something else, and he immediately went to it, grabbed it, and started throwing it around and squeaking it. Ten years of having him in my life, and I have finally learned that he associates his toys with the sound they make. TIL to call them “Squeak Squeak”. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Aka-chin, how long do you think teaching me to dance will take? We won’t have a lot of time to do so, considering I want to get home before midnight, and I won’t get there until late morning.

Sometimes when I ask you to teach me how to play the piano, I'm more looking forward to watch you play up close, and for you to touch my fingers when you help me get the right keys.
