Teach me Jarul No. 1 - The Forms Part One
In the drawing and not only in the cartoon, geometric shapes play a very important role because thanks to them, a drawing can be seen and be better structured, easier to draw and look more professional.
Another great point when it comes to drawing and having a structured character with geometric shapes is that we are creating some animation project, with a working group, they can all draw the characters in the same way, following point by point how they are structured graphically the characters.
So yes, you have to pay close attention to the shapes, because they will be our allies when it comes to drawing.

Teach me Jarul No. 2 - The Forms Part Two
The forms, as I said before, are extremely important. They facilitate drawing, structure and can define a character, if we focus on forms that are based on stereotypes. However, the most important point is that it helps us to simplify, and this we have to take it into account when drawing, since a common mistakeis to detail our drawings a lot when we are just beginning them.
The most basic and general rule of the drawing is "start by the simple" a drawing is very similar to the construction of a house or building, the first thing that is done is not to place the roof, but to build the base and base of our drawing, It is not the sketch, it is the geometric construction of the character, then the sketch, then the inking and some details, then the flat color, then the lights and shadows and finally, some more details to accentuate some things. This is how a drawing should be executed, do it this way and you will surely improve your art a lot.

Teach me Jarul No. 3 - The Trick of Geometric Importance!
One of the most important and best tricks guarded by professional illustrators and animators is, The geometric importance! Why is it so important that our characters are geographically well structured? Because that's easier than moving and turning our characters! if it is for a comic, storiette or for an animation project, we will need to draw the character from different positions and with several poses, well, the way to make it simple is this geometric structure! It is super important to learn to build our characters based on forms, it will help us in many ways in the future to know how to do it.
In this case, a geometric shape can be used to draw the face from the front, however, that same geometric shape also helps us to draw that same face, from the profile, from 3/4, from the view of the nape. Learn these tricks, they will improve TOTALLY your art.
