All of your WIPs from the most recent ask game sound fun! I want to hear about all of them, but since I can only pick one: any hints as to "baby photos"?

ahhhhh thank you!!!! okay so baby photos is VERY early stages but basically it's a modern au The Team Cares About Bobby So Much fic..... they're doing a little social media thing of the team as babies and bobby is Not sending any baby photos so jim as the one with more tact from the bobby's besties duo (let's face it you can't trust chuck with sensitive stuff) goes to bobby's parents behind his back to ask for baby photos and finds out about bobby's tragic backstory etc :) this thing mostly lives in my dms with @arokel but i do have this to offer:

"Your parents... they sent me a lot of pictures. From when you were a baby, and... From after that, too." Bobby's eyes go shiny. "I don't care that you never told us," Jim rushes to clarify, "although i kinda wish you did so we'd toss you a bit less into freezing water, but that's not what i wanted to say." He looks at Bobby's face - looking awfully open and young for someone who's so cocky and sure all the time - and falters. "Can i say it?" Bobby's voice is soft. "Yeah."

This isn’t 7 sentences but shhhhhhh

There was chaos, fire, screams. Don saw his hands covered in blood, heard his name followed by crying pleas of mercy. One by one his friends fell until at last he saw Bobby.

Bobby with a gash in his chest, choked gasps around a mouthful of blood. Don reached out towards him, but before their hands could touch, Don was forced back into his body.

ANdndndndnd it’s a coxstroke hockey AU that I really gotta get back into again cause I plan to make it pretty angsty based on how Bobby in Odd Man Rush talked about goodbyes;;;;

Here’s a bit that im sorta proud of that I got written down:

Despite the helmet, the mask, Bobby’s eyes bore holes into him. Don inhales sharply through his nose, bats the puck a bit before he tries to pull a fast one on Bobby.

It doesn’t work.

Bobby blocks his puck, sends it scattering away with a hollow echo. It’s quiet in the arena and Don chews around the mouthguard

Bobby scoffed at this, but before more could be said, he lunged at Don. Shielding himself with the blade, Don fell easily into the motions of sparring with Bobby. He was quick, impulsive but sure, as he swept around Don. It was almost dizzying, watching the dance of Bobby’s fighting and Don stumbled more than he cared to admit. With a hit to the back of his leg, Don fell and landed on his knees. His sword clattered away from him, but before Don could scramble to grab it, Bobby’s blade was at his throat. Using the tip, Bobby made Don turn his face upward until their gazes met.
