Can you please do a Sasuke x reader headcanon where Sasuke is in love with the reader but she pays more attention to Naruto ( their all in team 7 including Sakura 😃)
I’m imagining genin Team 7 here where everyone has a little crush on someone else but they're all too young to really understand what they're feeling. Thank you for the request.
Headcannons for Team 7 Love Rectangle
Sasuke is rather disgruntled by the fact that you are in love with Naruto. He is never pleased and constantly looks pissed off whenever you seem to be swooning over Naruto. He can’t stand to see you giggling nervously and blushing whenever Naruto is around. He hates how easy it is for the blond boy to make you smile.
The thought of how happy you are with Naruto, eats Sasuke up inside at night. He’s quiet in his suffering and never tells anyone how he feels, including you. Sakura seems to be the only one to notice his sour mood every time you and Naruto are having a grand time together. She doesn’t want to admit it to herself, that Sasuke may like you, because then that’ll break her heart.
Instead, Sakura tries her best to cheer Sasuke up and to silently support him. She’s hoping she can replace you in his heart by showing him she’s always there for him and that she cares for him deeply. It might even get to the point where Sakura would be the one spilling the beans to you when she’s upset, because you have Sasuke’s love and you don’t even know it.
You would be shocked to hear Sakura’s theory and quick to deny that Sasuke liked you. How could Sasuke like you? Whenever he was around you, he hardly said anything. He had corrected your form on how to throw a kunai and help you tape up your injured hand when you slipped up, but he mostly just mentioned how you needed more practice. He never gave compliments about you though.
You would focus on Sasuke’s attention more after Sakura told you how he might feel. When you two are alone, he seems at peace even when he might not have a lot to say. He’ll try to make conversation, but you notice how Sasuke becomes quiet and glares off into space when Naruto distracts you. You also notice how Sasuke will insist on training by himself afterwards.
You’ll start to emphasize with how Sasuke feels as you know your feelings for Naruto aren’t reciprocated either. Naruto proclaimed to love Sakura before you had started to develop feelings for him. It always hurt you when Naruto tried to be soft and sweet to Sakura but she refuses to acknowledge him or acts rude towards him.
There would be a four-way love rectangle between the members of team 7 until someone decided to give the other a chance and let go of their feelings they thought they had. All the while growing up it would be a constant hassle managing the emotions and drama of the four of you that Kakashi has to spectate and be apart of.
