Hey bud!! I just felt like letting you know, I recently starteda new run of Rescue Team and wound up with a skitty hero, and then chose a totodile partner. They're pirate themed, nicknamed Marooner and Shark Bait respectfully with the team name Doubloons. Just thinking about them reminds me of Team Cronch sometimes so!! Figured I'd mention it to you. I think I want a more sleek design for Marooner when I draw her, but I might revisit a lot of your art for totodile inspiration.

AHHH MAROONER AND SHARK BAIT?! Those are just. Such rad names. I love them already. The idea of a pirate-themed team is so good!!!

And feel free to! I’m happy to help contribute to any and all totodile art in the world. ^^ I don’t know how long ago this ask was sent, but I’m definitely gonna go poking around to see if I can find them on your blog. 👀

New team here, Team Doubloons!! They’re a pirate themed team that I started playing for Rescue Team! We have nicknamed “Marooner” (she doesn’t remember her actual name) the skitty, and Lexie or “Shark Bait” the totodile.

Various rambling under the cut!

I had been trying to play FlareBolt since I was inspired by RTDX, but the quiz strangely kept giving me different results instead of just charmander like it did when I was younger. Probably a mix of me growing as a person and just rng. Either way, after resetting a few times I wound up with skitty, and decided that fate must want me to try something new and save FlareBolt for when I get a switch, so here we are!

So far I’ve just beat Team Meanies, and I can say that this is the easiest time I’ve had playing Rescue Team and that astounds me. It’s been awhile since I played my Team Galaxy run, but while I do remember it being one of my easier runs as well, it was not as easy as this. How do I know that? I haven’t had to use any reviver seeds with Team Doubloons yet, and in all other runs I have used at least one by this point of the game.

Magnemite and a zigzagoon have been recruited so far, named Anchor and Swabbie respectively. Trying to brainstorm Absol’s name ahead of time, though I haven’t come up with anything quite yet...
