i really wanted the colors to pop in this piece so i decided to do it traditionally! decided to enter in @characterhub-com 's art contest! really tried my best on optimus too, and he came out pretty well i'd say!

Bulkhead is the engineer on Optimus’ team, and helped maintain the ship along with Ratchet…a lot of good that did them. At 40 ft tall, he towers over most Autobots, likely because of his large plane altmode.

Bulkhead was raised away from the big cities, out on an energon farm- a collection of miles of pipelines and machinery meant to collect and recycle energon and other natural materials. At a young age, he gained an interest in machinery, learning to build and repair different contraptions with the help of a local watchmaker. However, as the war grew more intense, Bulkhead was drafted, and ended up becoming close friends with fellow new recruit Bumblebee.

While Bulkhead’s size makes him a dangerous force in battle, he really has a gentle spark, and enjoys observing the life on Earth. He’s made a friend in a local human, Miko, and is currently attempting to locate his missing teammates with her help.

Transformers Prompts II:

* Crossover G1&IDW/MTMTE/TLL:

Due to some Lost Light BS – I call it “The Lost Light Effect” – Rodimus&Co (while the Scavengers+Grimlock and Team Optimus – including the alive and restored Senator Shockwave and Hardhead – visited) end up on the G1 dimension…And, predictably, all hell breaks loose:

·Everyone (G1) keeps trying to adopt Rung (IDW).

·Thundercracker and Buster (IDW) being too adorable while Marissa (IDW) just facepalms.

·Blaster (G1) on hysterics upon finding out about Chromedome/Rewind (IDW).

·Drift and Shockwave (IDW) breaking sparks just by existing: Seriously, those two could seduce a Quintesson if they wanted…

·Springer (G1) staring jealously while Arcee (IDW) – cheerfully for once – introduces Hardhead (IDW) to her counterpart (G1).

·Prowl (G1) being utterly confused as to why the “one with the needles” – Chromedome – and the “militarized Skyfire” – Jetfire – keep vivisecting him with their optics.

·Terminus (IDW) being himself and generating massive ‘WTF?’ faces when everyone (G1) tries to figure out how the nice and caring miner can be related to Megatron.

·Perceptor (G1) scared of finding out just what happened to his counterpart (IDW) to make him so cold and aloof…And the best sniper the Wreckers ever saw on either Faction.

·Brainstorm (IDW) confusing the Primus out of anyone (G1) who tries to interrogate him – due to the tons of prejudices against flyers on that dimension – via asking him about his work; but, with Perceptor’s glare and trigger finger both trained on the poor sap, no one will bother the oblivious engineer for too long.

·Cyclonus (IDW) not giving a flying rat ass about the 98% of the entire Autobot Faction (G1) trying to kill him on sight. He doesn’t even unsheathes his Great Sword.

·Whirl (IDW) cackling madly at his “Horn-head’s” predicament, but sneaks them (G1) a glimpse of his inner Wrecker/Senate Assassin when someone actually seems intent on carrying out their threats against Cyclonus.

·99% of the Autobots (G1) recoiling the hell away from Chromedome (IDW) after he explained what a Mnemosurgeon is.

·Wheeljack (G1) bursting on tears upon discovering Grimlock being able to fluently  write and read – even if he isn’t exactly a calligraphy master – and hugging the daylights out of an embarrassed Misfire (IDW).

·Everyone, Ultra Magnus (G1) on particular, being so baffled by the whole “Load-bearer” thing that isn’t even funny…Especially for Rodimus, Megatron and Ten (IDW).

·Soundwave (G1) crashing when his counterpart (IDW) doesn’t even tries to hide his closeness with Optimus and Cosmos…And soon, the 95% of the Decepticons join him on the floor when someone mentions Starscream as the Elected /Predestined Leader of Cybertron.

·Elita1 (G1) having to be restrained after someone slips how “Optimus and Shockwave (IDW) are still so slagging adorable together, even after almost 5 million years of war separated and the whole Regenesis shitstorm…”

·Everyone (G1) – Autobots, Decepticons and Humans – flipping their shit upon seeing Megatron’s (IDW) Autobot insignia…And unusual protectiveness towards Rodimus (IDW)…
