So havent really been fucking with Blizzard for a long time now, but I think I might be going back to Overwatch. Been really wanting to play a team shooter since the whole Concord debacle. Started playing Paladins again but it looks like that game is a dead horse. I always play against the same people. Devs and artists are dropping out of the game too and I suspect its servers only have a couple years of life left. I have my reasons for not playing TF2 anymore. OW2 seems like my only option if I want a player base.

Playing as a support is such a mental task sometimes.

It's hard to watch a potential push fall apart because you can tell when someone isn't putting in as much effort to be aggressive as you are trying to help them.

But there’s a reason why I don't play aggressively anymore and playing support has also helped me act more level headed.

I still have a shit temper when I get competitive honestly but it's way better than it was last year.

This is also why I know I play better when I'm high because it calms me down and I don't get upset when stupid shit happens.

I’ll be the last to deny that the status quo in team shooter design has issues, but it’s increasingly apparent that many of the popular criticisms of that status quo are being framed by folks who regard two mobility-focused midrange DPSes bunny-hopping circles around each other on a flat, featureless plane as the essential core of the team shooter experience, and everything else as a frivolous distraction. It’s like the “no items, Fox only, Final Destination” of team shooters - I’m actually kind of shocked we don’t have a snappy name for it yet.

Everytime I think of team shooting games, like rainbow six siege , I wonder how the characters come back alive and switch teams so much. Is it all fake? It is like vr or something? Someone tell me!

Overwatch is the best team shooter ever made

Even though I’m terrible at “team vs. team” oriented shooters, I still love playing them. I don’t get why people whine so much about people that are just a bit worse than the other team.
