Thoughts on my second main, the Splatershot Nova?

I really don't get what the devs wanted Nova to be? Dual Squelcher was such a nothing weapon that it's the only gun in the series to be completely and utterly reworked, but then Nova comes along and tries to do more or less the same thing again?

Of course as far as me liking Nova is concerned the poor thing was doomed from the start because it effectively feels and plays like a combination of Aerospray and Jet Squelcher, two of my least favourite weapons in the game.

I have a whole build centred around the nova and it's *all* sub saver. I call it "panopticon" because you can see every enemy all the time when I'm running it well. Overall splatter with 13 assists. Call me "Facebook" because I am violating those squids privacy.
