I’d like to delve further on what dynamic Guy adds to team traffic, that being the yes man. Booster and Plas have a long standing history of doing some dumbass stuff that everyone else usually tries to stop or alter in some way. Or just call them a dumbass. It’s part of their shtick.
Now Guy Gardner is confident in his choices. I think in Team Traffic that confidence will apply to his teammates as well. Booster gold wants to bring back a T. rex to fight gorilla grodd? Sure, let’s grab an extra dumb one that can’t be mind controlled. Plastic man is going to become a helicopter for the other two members of the team that can fly? Gives him an excuse to construct a minigun, go Rambo on these poor losers that decided to be villains that day.
Getting to that dynamic is important because if the team can’t think of a decision that all three will approve of, all three are very likely to try doing their own thing which will inevitably fail catastrophically.
