Anyway joining everyone, because yes!!!!
I like dark and fucked up stuff.
Anyway:
paranormal/magical!AU where Treville was taken into Spanish prison (because we love that trope) and through who knows what bullshit was transformed into some sort of vampiric/ghoulish/wendigo thing. Super strenght, agility, who knows what, but of course sustained by blood and meat. The Musketeers saved him (maybe he was meant to be saved because like this one day he will go haywire and eat the french court) and Richelieu helped but figured out quicky something is wrong with Treville and tries to help him.
Includes:
Richelieu having a library montage where he figures out sorta what Treville is
Richelieu going lengths into finding blood and meat for Treville, because Treville is important for Louis, who is so happy he's back
lot of self loathing Treville
debates on how much evil is fine if it is used for good (ie Treville eating people so he can feel sorta normal)
lot of hurt!treville
also whump
lot of blood (we love that)
Richelieu risking his life by arguing with Treville, who could kill him now with one bad motion of his wrist (not that he couldn't before but now it is even more scary)
Very inspired by The Blessing of Blood by our beloved @tatzelwyrm (I hope you know how much I love that one)
