"Anna."
"Anna."
"ANNA!"
As her name was called from the other side of the counter, the owner of that name popped her head to an upright position, gripping her phone tightly in her hands.
"I know, I know, just let me finish this text."
Anna was flightly on the best of days but this just seemed completely out of character for even herself. She was normally a hard worker or at least attempted to be when she wasn't being an everyday clutz. Her coworker, Rapunzel, pressed a hand to her face letting it slide half way down her cheek in disappointed in her friend before a thought crossed her mind and she took a more serious tone to her voice, realizing what must be causing this change in her friend.
"Are you texting Elsa?"
The other girl stayed silent, her thumbs pressing softly against the keys before she shut her phone off and grabbed a nearby tray, walking right past Rapunzel without even a sideways glance.
Rapunzel sighed heavily, watching her friend give a table their coffee order acting as if nothing happened but she knew better. She knew the relationship between Anna and her sister, Elsa. A soft smile spread across her lips, becoming happy for the two siblings that they were evidently rekindling the sibling relationship that had once seemed like a lost cause.
"Here you go ma'am. So sorry for the wait. How about a blueberry muffin. On the house. They're totally delicious trust me, I should know."
The table laughed and accepted Anna's offer, still chuckling as she walked away. The coffee house girl placed the now empty tray to the side, continuing her work with a smile upon her face, trying hard not to let her personal thoughts show. If she let that happen she'd be giggling and grinning like a Cheshire Cat
After finishing what needed to be done, Anna leaned against the counter top, staring at the front door as she felt the comforting hand of her friend upon her back. Nodding her head in acceptance of the gesture, before feeling Rapunzel leave her side, Anna began to reflect on her life, her smile widening.
"It's gonna be a good day.", she told herself, bouncing on her toes excitedly. "I can feel it!"
