Jonathan Byers appreciation post
If you didn't know Jonathans in my top five favorite characters, he's so over hated and forgotten
Joyce is a great mom to Will but a bad one to Jonathan. He had to plan his brothers funeral and deal with (who he thought at the time) was his insane mother. His father abused him, his brother went missing, his mom cared about his brother more, and he barely got to be siblings with Jane.
but also he's just my silly little guy. He's a little weirdo who has made about 3 friends in his entire life time, he wears grandma cardigans, he's a music snob, he likes taking pictures and making movies. He's so supportive of his brother and loves him so much even though it goes against what is father drilled into him. He's a freak and knows it, he trys to explode mike with his mind, he gets high with this random dude he met in California.
