Last night, I saw @sunsetblvdmusical written by @andrewlloydwebber starring #GlennClose It's based on the movie that starred #Gloria Swanson who just happens to be one of the divas in my song, The Three Divas. In the end of School of Rock’s Tony performance last night the boy playing Mason, I believe his name is Ethan said to Alex Brightman’s character “Mr. Schneebly do you think we’ll win?” and Alex’s response rehearsed or not was so heartfelt and sincere saying “we’re not here to win, we’re here to rock” How incredible is that what a class act you are, Alex. The perfect demonstration to kids and adults everywhere that its all about the art and while awards are sweet, the recognition and opportunity to do what you do each night is so much sweeter. What an incredible night for that cast of such talented kids and their fearless leader on and off the stage. Absolutely the most stand out performance of the Tony Awards.
