Catching up on some Hang Work after this mornings conditioning. Felt I was moving smoothly so had a shoot at this! 110kg Hang Snatch Double. So today, after lecture & before coaching I managed to squeeze in 20 minutes to myself & had a go at building to a 1RM Overhead Squat! I managed 140kg pretty comfortably so had a shot at 150kg/330lb. Normally I get carried away but I gave myself 3 attempts only! These are the first two! Having a 150 overhead squat has been a huge aim to meet before Christmas! After being pretty close I'm determined to make it happen. Failing and learning is all part of the process, it's always humbling to! Hoping to have stood this up if I didn't hit the blocks on the second attempt! But there's no excuse!
