It probably doesn’t look like much but this little yellow band is everything to me. It represents not just a team, but a family. This bracelet is to honor my dad who was diagnosed with Angio Sarcoma, an aggressive form of cancer. When we heard the diagnosis my family was heartbroken, scared, angry and everything in between. One thing that we did was create these little bracelets to support him and to show where our hearts were. When my dad died in April of 2016 I was alone, my best friend, my dad had left this Earth for a greater place. I wear this bracelet as a reminder of the great life he lived and the legacy he left behind. I wear this in honor of him and his relentless battle.
