A couple of weeks ago, when Hurricane Harvey hit, I pledged to donate the earnings of my sales from my side gig #rodanandfields from the 25th through the end of the month to the victims of the Houston area. I initially thought I'd donate to the Red Cross, but there's been some recent headlines surfacing about them. Therefore, I decided to go to the local organization that was created by the Mayor. The Greater Houston Community Foundation. I got paid yesterday and it just felt like the right thing to do...GIVE. I elected to not give a portion of my sales for those last days in August, but to give 25% of my earnings to the foundation. I can only imagine what those victims are going through and it breaks my heart knowing how much will need to be rebuilt. I will continue to support the needs of the victims as it just feels right and it fills my heart knowing that maybe I helped a few people out who need food and supplies to rebuild their lives. ❤️❤️ #blessed #grateful #give #love #ceoofme #lifechanging #teamblessalife (at Irving, Texas)
