I have seriously lost count of my Tumblr-indwelling brothers and sisters in Christ -- conservative and Bible-believing Christians, mind you -- who apparently have me pre-blocked even though I have never even interacted with them, much less contradicted them, and I only ever find out when I want to reblog a chain where they are the OP and I suddenly realise that I cannot interact with them.

I have no idea how to explain this. Most of my posts do not enjoy much popularity either way, so it's most probable that there are blocklists circulating amongst us...is this really what we have come to???

And it makes even less sense considering how, over the years, I have reduced the political and otherwise truculent content which I post.

I simply don't understand.

Brethren, maybe it makes you feel happy that you prove all those people right who have always claimed that I am a piece of filth who does not even deserve the bare minimum of courtesy even from those whom I love. I understand that. I'm used to it! But please, PLEASE, before you too are tempted to follow that path, maybe you could be willing to admonish and correct your brother instead of instantly blocking him and thus leaving him even more confused as to what of all that he has done and said is so repugnant that it makes his fellow Christians want to never even face the possibility of interacting with him.

You weren’t respectful to those who ship Eraserjoke (or those who even like Mineta) by putting your negativity and whining about the ship in the tag and tags of the characters involved of the ship. We like to look at those tags and don’t want to see bullshit negativity and hate when we look. If you don’t have anything good to say about a ship then keep your content from appearing in the tags or searches.
