Today is the 1 year anniversary of his port placement surgery! This time last year our heads were swimming trying to take in all the information that we would need to properly care for Boone during the course of his chemo treatments! Wish I could have glimpsed the future to see where he is today. He has turned into such a sweet kid! He loves his big brothers fiercely and readily loves on all the girls when they come to visit. He has recently fallen in love with my bff “my Sara” and her 4 little people. He talks about them daily. He is a chatterbox, which is wild to think about because he couldn’t even say the word “no” clearly this time last year. He loves giving out hugs and kisses and saying “I love you”! If someone gets hurt or is upset he is the first one by their side to give a tissue.
