Yesterday’s evening magic.
I have two people to thank for tonight. (1) Sarah, for giving me a hall pass to stay out riding past 10pm. (Kids bedtimes are intense!). And (2) @teamdreamteam because I have never in my life gone sunset chasing, but tonight that was my goal thanks to their hashtag. I got a late start and spent an intense couple of hours climbing into the Rockies hoping to not miss the moment when the sun dipped below the peaks. I barely made it and it was beyond worth the hustle. Tonight was one of the most magic rides I've been on in years. The sun, the mountains, the colors, the solitude. It all felt so good. I know I missed the the #teamdreamteamsunsetchasingteam deadline, but the ride was the reward. 🍻 PS descending from 9,000 feet back to Denver in the car was an insane thrill. (at Golden Gate Canyon State Park)
