Ok, I just tried decorating my 2019 Happy Planner for the first time. It turned out decent. I don't know that I'm going to keep doing it. It took a lot of mental exertion to do, choosing stickers from 3 different sticker books so they all coordinate. Having mixed feelings right now. I love seeing all the beautiful decorated planner spreads on Instagram. But given my limitations I just don't know that it's something I can do on a regular basis. So on one hand I don't care and on the other hand I feel frustrated that once again chronic illness makes it difficult or impossible to do something. But decorating my planner ultimately doesn't matter, using it is what matters. So for 2019 I went with the regular size #happyplanner in the #momlife series in the #teamhorizontal Forget Me Not design. This will be my third year using a paper planner and my second using a Happy Planner. I wanted the mermaid one, but they didn't do it in a full size horizontal (If any of you #teamvertical want to shoot me message on how you use a vertical planner I would love to read it). I had a mini horizontal this past year and while I love the way it is set up, there just isn't enough room for me to write. I could take or leave the mom life part of this. Yes, I have #Geekybaby, but she is so small that her schedule is pretty much set. However this will work for my day to day, blogging, and podcasting life. I use a generic ringbound planner for my work life. I will have to #frankenplan with this a bit because there is like one page.of notebook paper in the back.
