I made some extra sheets for my Happy Planner Micro Notes. I took some extra sheets I had from the monthly format planner and cut and punched them to fit in my new Micro Notes. I'm trying to make use of what I have, because I switched planners from the monthly layout to the dashboard layout. Ok, I just tried decorating my 2019 Happy Planner for the first time. It turned out decent. I don't know that I'm going to keep doing it. It took a lot of mental exertion to do, choosing stickers from 3 different sticker books so they all coordinate. Having mixed feelings right now. I love seeing all the beautiful decorated planner spreads on Instagram. But given my limitations I just don't know that it's something I can do on a regular basis. So on one hand I don't care and on the other hand I feel frustrated that once again chronic illness makes it difficult or impossible to do something. But decorating my planner ultimately doesn't matter, using it is what matters. New Crystal Addition~Agate Pyramid . My in laws just sent me this! :-) They're so sweet. They don't really know anything about crystals but they know I love them. They usually buy me purple stones because it's purple and they know I love purple so they think of me. :-) This time they got me this agate pyramid and what appears to be a dyed purple selenite stick (didn't take a pic of that one yet). . What's so incredible is that as soon as I saw the agate pyramid I just knew it would be perfect for part of a grid I'm planning for my hubby's work and our housing situation. New Way to Store My Crystals . Recently, I got frustrated with how cluttered my display/storage of crystals has been. I wanted a way to store my tumbled stones so I could see all of them so I could more easily and regularly work with them and they wouldn't scatter all over the place. I looked for a bit, trying to find that "just right" bowl or basket. . What I found and ultimately decided on was a melamine deviled egg platter I found on Amazon. The egg cups are just deep enough to hold the crystals yet not so deep as to make it awkward to see or pick up the crystals. . I managed to get them all in there, but every cup is filled. I bought a third tray that's currently empty so I have room for the inevitable future Crystals I acquire. 😊 I'm still working on organizing the rest of my collection. Grid Theme: Environmental support and eco-consciousness (from the @loveandlightschool private students' Faceboom group) . I tend to do more informal style grids. I don't usually have more than 1 or 2 of each crystal, except for a few types like Clear Quartz, Citrine, and a few others. This informal style is simpler and easier for me to set up, especially while dealing with chronic illness. . Rainbow Moonstone: representing the Full Moon . Aragonite: a crystal I strongly associate with Earth energies . Moss Agate and Tree Agate: "Earthy" stones and plant energies . Azurite-Malachite: I don't have Chrysocolla-Malachite, which was recommended in the example grid; I chose this piece instead because it always reminds me of the space view of our planet . I started today! Today I started the @energymuse 21 Day Getting Unstuck Cord Cutting Ritual. Day 1 ritual done! This is HUGE for me! I actually followed through and started when I decided I would. . For the ritual we're only working with Selenite, but I have felt called to set up a crystal grid for Karmic Clearing and Ancestral Healing since I read through Judy Hall's new book The Crystal Companion a little while ago. I feel like this grid will support the cord cutting and healing I'm doing with the 21 day ritual with the Selenite. . I marked the 21 days out on my calendar to check off. Just realized my final day, day 21, is on the New Moon on June 13th. I didn't plan it that way, but that's how it worked out, which is SO cool!! . The grid is Stromatolite, Turitella Agate, Dumortierite, Shungite, Nuummite, Rainbow Obsidian, Kambamba Jasper, and Elestial Smoky Quartz, plus a Phantom Quartz Wand, all on a Petrified Wood slice. Sorry I haven't posted in a bit. I've been doing some things... 😊 I'm now a certified Reiki Practitioner, a certified Crystal Reiki Master/Teacher, and a certified Animal Reiki Practitioner. I'm working towards becoming a Reiki Master. . Recently, I decided to pursue studying Reiki. @littlefangtarot shared she was taking a Crystal Reiki course and I instantly knew I wanted to take it. All these years of working with Crystals and I just knew I needed to take the course. For some reason, I've avoided learning Reiki in the past, no idea why. Apparently it's the right time for me to learn it now. In order to take the Crystal Reiki course I needed to complete Reiki Levels 1 and 2, so I did. . I'm enjoying learning Reiki *so* much! I completed several courses with Lisa Powers through Udemy. These online courses were inexpensive and go at your own pace. That's perfect for me dealing with chronic illness. There's no way I could physically (or financially) handle an all day or 2 day in person course. . The attunements are distance attunements, which I've learned is controversial. It is my opinion that if distance Reiki sessions/treatments are possible, why can't distance attunements be possible? I personally had incredible experiences during my distance attunements. I distinctly felt the flow of energy begin and end and got some very clear messages and sensations during attunements. . I'm also finding that Reiki self treatments are one of the few woo-woo things that *don't* trigger chronic illness flares/crashes. I'm absolutely *not* able to do guided meditations/visualizations. The mental exertion is just as draining as physical exertion and often triggers flares/crashes. But Reiki isn't doing that to me. I'm actually feeling more energized from Reiki.
