If you could take a minute out of your day to pray/send good and positive vibes to Adam Lynn and his family. Mr. Lynn was my 12th grade calculus teacher, and he also attended my church. He was in a long boarding accident this weekend and suffered a critical brain injury, and the doctors say he isn't doing well. He has a wife and two children under the age of six. He is a great person who genuinely cares about his students. On one occasion, he saw my best friend having a panic attack outside of his classroom because of her boyfriend at the time, and told her that she deserves to surround herself with people who bring out the best version of her. For me personally, he bent over backward for me by coming in early and staying late after school so that I could get help to make a good grade in his class. One morning, I was getting help from him, and he saw that I was upset because of my boyfriend at the time. He told me that this wasn't the me he knew, and told me that I should want to be around people that make me a better person and that I should never have to prove my worth to anyone. He was one of my favorite teachers because many people he has taught have stories like this one, where he made them feel special and feel like they had someone on their side. He made math fun for me and everyone else he taught. After standardized testing, he taught us real life skills, like how to change a tire or how to balance a checkbook. He isn't doing well, and he's in surgery as we speak. Please do whatever you do to send well wishes to Mr. Lynn and his family. Thank you so much.
