“Tetris, I mean it. I need that battery pack for my arm. Now where is it?”The Lucario shrugged his shoulders and kept shuffling through the chest for the specified. “Man, I’m looking for it, chill out. We’ll find it eventually,” he called. “Can’t you just scan for it? You’ve got the new Eyesight.”
“It uses too much energy, and I can’t afford that right now,” Kievr shouted back, pointing the HUD earpiece. The Typhlosion was antsy; his power banks were running low and he couldn’t afford a shutdown now. “Why don’t you use those Nanos of yours to search for it?”
“Pfft. Ain’t no way those things are going to be able to find it in this mess,” Tetris remarked. The house was in disarray after a pair of thugs had attempted a ransacking of the house not five minutes ago.
A minute later came a shout from Tetris. “Got it!” he proclaimed, and rushed over to his friend. “Hold still while I install this….. and done. Power banks refilled to 30%.”
Kievr flexed his metallic arm and tapped his earpiece. Both were in working condition. “It will do for now,” he commented, then stood.
Tetris shook his head. “You know, you could have just sat there and charged via outlet. I could have cleaned up this place myself in an hour with some help from the Nanos. It’s not hard.”
“I just wanted to ensure my limbs wouldn’t shut down mid-task,” said the Typhlosion. “You know shutdowns are not fun.” The Lucario only shrugged in return.
