My ma, she's a Delcatty so she doesn't get it and my brother, he's just part Dewgong so he doesn't either. It's hard feeling my Popplio genes and not knowing how to express them. I could maybe teach you some fighting skills in return, if you'd like?"
"It sounds like it means you have a little bit of my kind in you, right? If so, you should probably be able to sing a little bit yourself. All Popplio can sing even right after they're born, you know! I've seen it happen in my tribe sometimes!"
"But I know having someone teach you how to sing is very important too, though, because young Popplio aren't very good at controlling their voices. They can be too loud or just not sing the right notes or something, and then there's teaching songs too. I don't know how good at teaching I would be, because I was still trying to learn, too. I also haven't practiced a lot since I came to this island - I haven't really wanted to or anything. But I can try to teach you how to sing the same way Mother taught me, especially if you really have a little bit of your kind in me!"
"As for fighting abilities... as long as it's only so I can protect myself. I don't really like fighting much, but until my tribe finds me, I have to try, don't I? Hmmm... if you have some of my kind in you, do you know any Water moves? I just learned the Disarming Voice move already, but Kai did try to teach me other Water moves a couple times. It... didn't really go well."
"Hmm... also, if you want me to help you sing, I need to hear you first."
