The #WakeCounty shelters are being closed today. Therefore the majority of the evacuees here at the shelters in Raleigh are being moved to the Coliseum in Winston-Salem where the State of North Carolina will be operating the new shelter. Thanks to #TeamWake and our amazing co-workers who dedicate themselves to public service and serve members of Wake County and the state of NC! Nights at the shelter are always entertaining when you have great co-workers and last night was no different. We had a toilet that decided to continuously shoot out gallons of water from the toilet bowl! We had to use shelter blankets to hold back the flow of water to other parts of the school. With the help of school officials we were able to stop the water flow and clean up the water! Unfortunately, my feet did get soaked though!
