Don’t be quick to throw out broken teapots. Broken teaware can rise like a phoenix into a new and artful life. ⠀ It is a fact that has been proven by the team at the @tea_mail teahouse. Thanks to the amazing skills of @nadya_sayart , beautiful exterior panels were created to decorate the teahouse. This type of mosaic is an excellent way of Recycling teaware or any other damaged or unneeded ceramics. ⠀ Want to know more about the creation process? Nadya the artist shared with us her creative process: ⠀ “There are two main elements to the process: choosing the pieces and compiling them into one whole image. The second element is choosing the material with which to attach the pieces to the panel. At first I used mounting glue, but it did not work well with glazed ceramics and pieces would fall off while the glue stuck to the panel. I had to redo almost all the panels using clear sealant. It really got the pieces to stick well. The panels were detachable so I was able to glue the pieces on to the panels when they were placed horizontally on a surface. Selecting pieces and elements for the mosaic was also not an easy task. Usually all of the elements are made to be used for mosaics. But in this case I had to make the mosaic out of random broken pieces.” ⠀ If you want to make this kind of mosaic picture, the only things you will need are broken or old ceramics, a base or panel to which you will attach the pieces, clear sealant, inspiration and patience. ⠀ If you have any questions, leave your comments below and we will be very glad to answer them. ⠀ #teaaddict #teaart #teahead #tealover #teastate #gongfucha #teahouse #puerhteacake #puerh https://www.instagram.com/p/B9WqzeTAFu0/?igshid=h3ryg5to8ty4

Tea friends (tea pets) are important guests at any tea session: you can pour hot water over them and make wishes. But don’t worry, they won’t get upset about the hot water, they will actually enjoy it. ⠀ Usually tea friends are placed near one of the edges of the Cha Ban facing the tea drinkers. From time to time water is poured over the tea friends. It is considered that if you keep your tea friends “hydrated” during the tea session they will bring you good luck. So keep your tea friends close 😉 ⠀ #truetea #teaisgood #realtea #teaexperience #teastate #teastyle #gongfucha #teafriends #teadrunk #teaaddict #teapets https://www.instagram.com/p/B8Og9-iARim/?igshid=e24rctpn8iqa
