My theater-side of life
I just finished working my first show (Into the Woods) at the downtown community theater (which is surprisingly large and well funded) with a really awesome group of people! After strike today, the tech director of the blackbox theater (below their mainstage) said that he had been hearing a lot of good things about me and asked me if I wanted to stage manage one of the blackbox shows. I'm always a bit hard on myself (modest?) when it comes to a lot of things, so it's just really fantastic to get such a great response after working just one show! Hopefully one of their shows in the near future works out with my schedule. If not, I'll just have to make it work! *insert more happy-noises here*
