3 things we love,
The new flat stainless steel sides make for a very premium feel.
MagSafe is a dream to use, allowing for usage of your phone while charging without the need for bulky cases or fear of wires fraying.
Thanks to the new 5G modem you’re now able to get super speed results (not in all locations) even better though, the chip also gives you faster 4G LTE speeds. We saw 150% increase in 4G speed when compared to iPhone 11 Pro Max.
Something that surprised us,
Battery Life - We initially thought battery life would be awful due to the smaller battery, even with enhancements in power management brought by the A14 Bionic. However on our first full day of usage we got from 6am to 8:30pm with 40% still remaining. This is with Smart Data on (little 5G in our area) mid level brightness and low power mode once battery hit 50%. We actually use Siri Shortcuts to automatically turn on low power mode when iPhone battery hits 50%.
Something we’re not a fan of,
Those stainless steel bands we love? Well as expected they’re a MAGNET for fingerprints, like a huge magnet. This is obviously because of the bigger surface area so you notice them more than you would on previous iPhones. Due to this extra surface area, we predict it’ll also show scratches and scuffs a lot more so get a case on or be extra careful.
