I just finished playing Detroit Become Human for the first time and really wanted to get the bad ending so I made all the bad choices. Ended up making myself cry instead, I get way too attached to fictional characters.

However, thanks to one line in The Giggle, the real culprit was teased; The Toymaker.

Russell T. Davies has gone on record saying that thanks to Toymaker's machinations, all origins are in fact valid, meaning, like the Joker, his origins are multiple-choice.
