The Heavyweights Of The Marvel Cosmos
THIS MONTH IN '85 -- TECHNARCHIC TERROR BECOMES UNLEASHED IN THE MARVEL UNIVERSE.
PIC INFO: Resolution at 1944x3009 -- Spotlight on cover art to "Uncanny X-MEN" Vol. 1 #192 [in the grip of Magus!]. April, 1985. Marvel Comics. Artwork by John Romita Jr. and Dan Green.
"Fools, you are as nothing to me. I could tear your puny star in half with my bare hands. But you fought well. Your courage amuses me. Your existence may therefore continue. Be warned, however -- even my patience has limits. Deliver Warlock to me -- quickly -- or your world will suffer the consequences."
-- MAGUS, ruler of planet Kvch, homeworld of the Technarchy (Earth-616) to Colossus, Rogue, & Nightcrawler
Story/script by Chris Claremont.

"JoJo, you say you hate drawing robots, but you love drawing X-Men characters. Well, what about Warlock? Does he count?"
No, ha ha, the Technarchy do not count as "robots". As far as drawing goes, Warlock is a delightful scribble. I was so happy to be challenged to draw him, though! I'd never drawn this sweetheart before!

Cybersonik – Technarchy
What do you think of the Technarch sword / armor?
To be honest, I hope it’s not permanent.
It reminds me of Dr. Moira MacTaggert’s prosthetic arm in X Deaths Of Wolverine.
step 1 get a new fave step 2 draw them w a ponytail
Warlock
Powers: Techno-Organic shapeshifting and enhanced by nano-technology allowing him to repair and upgrade his body.
Warlock was born on a distant planet of a race of sentient techno-organic life forms. Members of this race proved their right to exist as children by battling their parents to death. The son of the leader of his native World, Warlock fled instead of fighting his father and landed on Earth.
Originally seen as a threat by the New Mutants Warlock was later befriended by the group who, with Professor Xavier’s permission, allowed Warlock to join their group. Despite having a personality resembling that of small child, Warlock proved himself a valuable member of the team. When the group was sent to Hel, Warlock began forming around Doug Ramsey (Cypher) as a suit of armour. When Cypher was later killed by Anti-Mator Warlock used his shapeshifting abilities to reanimate him and took him to see his mother and Wolfsbane in the hope of reminding him how it felt to be alive and convince him to come back. The New Mutants explained that they had to put Doug’s body back so it could be buried and they could say goodbye.
Captured by the X-Men's enemy Hodge Warlock was taken to the island of Genosha where Hodge had developed a cybernetic body and attempted to siphon off his shape-shifting power so he could change his robotic body at will. Hodge was confronted by the combined might of the X-Men and New Mutants, while Warlock was still imprisoned. Although Hodge's plan was thwarted by the New Mutant Wolfsbane, Warlock appeared to have died, his energies leeched from him, reducing him to ashes. Later, Warlock's ashes were scattered over the grave of Doug Ramsey.
A composite being known as the Phalanx later absorbed the remnants of Warlock and Ramsey, however this separate consciousness could not exist within the Phalanx mind due to the mutant physiology and this consciousness soon separated itself from the Phalanx and referred to itself as Douglock.
