*contains gifted items* Who has a dog? I'm definitely a fair weather walker as the rain pisses me right off, but never again do I have to get soaked to the skin when I walk the bloody mutt. I now have the most comfortable rainwear to keep me 1.) dry and 2.) looking good! I have had three people ask me where these lace up wellies are from on the two occasions i've worn them, which i'd say is a win win! These incredible boots are handmade from Danish brand, Ilse Jacobsen. And they are made to specifically deal with wind and water - erm perfect for the UK then!!! Made from 100% natural rubber, these boots are sustainable as well as looking bloody awesome! My raincoat is from Scottish brand Protected Species and I have to say, it is the best raincoat i've ever owned. It's lightweight, completely waterproof (it comes with a 2 year waterproof guarantee) and breathable and is such a beautifully simple and understated design, it goes with any outfit, making it the perfect coat for commuters or just around town. These two brands are technical, ethical and sustainable. They focus on high quality and timeless designs so they come with a price tag. The boots are £120 and the raincoat is £199. But if you are often out in all weathers and are looking for comfortable, versatile and stylish rainwear, then they are well worth the investment.
