Been thinking about my fnaf Revamped au lately and how I wanna tell the story of it but I’ve decided why not let y’all choose how it should be told
How should I tell the story of the revamped au?
As a written fanfic
As a comic
Through an ask blog
A mix of all the options
Mini explanation of the choices:
A fanfic: Pretty self explanatory, just a normal fanfic that would be posted on Ao3 alongside some mini companion fics
A comic: Also pretty self explanatory, the comic will cover all of the major events and not the smaller events and shenanigans
The ask blog: The story would be told in response to asks (some asks will have small drawings accompanying them) the blog gets, there would be moments where parts of the plot would just be posted, the more silly asks will get some focused time and answered, and y’all will also get to interact with the characters themselves during then
A mixed of all the options: Certain parts and aspects of the story will be told through all 3 of the options like for example the ask blog could be used just for interacting with the characters and learning about the relationships between them all, the comic shows just the important events, and the fic goes over the plot points in more detail
The fanfic and comic options would take the longest to do, I’m not a quick writer and drawing everything for comic pages would take a bit to do, the fastest way would be the ask blog cuz the responses would mostly be short with the occasional doodles to accompany them, finally the mixed option would take both a long and short time to do depending on which medium I decide to work on at the time tho the writing and comic bits wouldn’t take as long as if I was purely just doing writing or comics.
Another lil tidbit of information!!!! Regardless of the option chosen I’ll still be making lil mini fics of moments from fnaf 1 gang’s past, these mini fics won’t really affect the plot of the main story and just serve as fun bonus content for the au :D
