hello please I must know: Leon ends up keeping a little of his mutations (if not permanently, definitely for A Long Time given he still has claws and some scales around Requiem) even after being De-Plaga’d, so does Luis keep some of his mutations? I mean presumably not full-sized wings but a man can dream, right?
Nothing is set in stone yet, though Leon definitely ends up with the most extreme residual physical changes. Out of all of them, Leon is the only one who *cannot* pass for fully human on visual inspection, after removing the plaga and any other means of reversing mutations explored pre-requiem. (That's the idea anyway).
I did have a thought about Luis's wings, but it's that he and Leon end up in an argument because he asks Leon to cut them off. Luis can't really reach them well, they aren't sensitive, and they're a burden. He can't even use them because that's just asking for some random trigger happy civilian, cop, or anyone else to shoot him on sight. He can't wear normal clothing, they're conspicuous unless he wears something equally conspicuous to hide them-
Leon has some complicated feelings about it, it's not necessarily safe or sanitary, and he's kinda getting mixed signals since Luis seems *fascinated* by his own altered parts. Leon also doesn't really have the option to just cut off the parts of him that aren't human anymore without horrible consequences (he's not gonna amputate functional fingers, and cutting off the tail COULD result in the hemorrhage killing him, not worth it....
So, I haven't decided exactly where Luis is at long-term, but he may or may not just be normal. For better or worse, despite everything that has happened.
