Organic Analogue - 10 Years Of Dancing
14 track album
the Little Beat Different compilation is out! Seven producers from seven different countries doing two new tracks each - I contributed History Worm and Skin Pixels. LBD described my tracks as “otherworldly and disorienting”.
History Worm is a scraping, claustrophobic track influenced by Tuff Sherm’s dissonant textures. It started life as a sort of dub-techno jam and got extensively re-engineered - I ended up shifting the accents around until it started sounding like an ominous Durban gqom tune.
Skin Pixels is much more straightforward: a looping, bassy roller with atmosphere & melody from my own processed falsetto. This one is culled and expanded from a live set I did for Stray Landings in 2016.
Evidence Found is a great comp of weird house, techno, ambient & breakbeat trax, get onto it at the link
