Because apparently technology takes inspiration directly from ancient nightmares?
A few weeks ago I dressed up in a black robe and a respected old man ceremonially bestowed me with a hood.
In one week I face a test and if I pass will be considered one of the world’s foremost experts in an arcane discipline full of strange formulas, making inanimate objects “learn” and “see,” manipulating literal knowledge in ways we pretend to understand but don’t, really, yet still use to drive the world.
So I realized I’m basically a shaman.
Okay, bad news and good news. Bad news: I can't play Pokémon White anymore. For some reason all my roms are fucked. Good news is I don't think any of the other Pokémon games I own have a fucked up cart so this is a one time problem.
I can lie in bed at night and watch one of my favorite movies on a tiny screen and that's a capability 12-year-old me would have really coveted.
