technology loop

I need to work on staying off the internet and away from my phone long enough to focus on a book or even a movie or TV show. My attention span is very limited, always wanting to scroll down or click "next" or open a new tab. I have soooOooo so many tabs open right now. Why? Because I can't focus on one page long enough to finish with it and close the tab.

I started Ghost World about 3 days ago, and I could easily finish it in a few hours. But it's taken me days because I usually end up on tumblr instead. Or, you know, sleeping or floating around my boyfriend's apartment in my underwear, not doing much of anything.

Technology Loops:  They're real.  So... after much trial and error, I think I've finally figured out the best way to manage my "digital life."  Cheers, cue the choir of angels.
