You and your secret Autobot lover Bumblebee were at your usual meeting spot in the forest, by the small lake.
Sun was shining there were no clouds in the sky, birds were singing and the day was just plain beautiful. You honestly were starting to like Earth and all the life there was on the organic planet.
Bumblebee was telling you about how he had been "helping" Bulkhead, the big green but gentle Autobot friend of his, to paint a picture by modeling for him, but in the end, Bumblebee couldn't understand art.
"And then I saw it and my helm was all weird in the painting!"
"You look really pretty right now if that helps?" You said with an honest smile and Bumblebee rolled his blue optics and smiled back, "Duh, I always look good."
"And you're ever so humble, little Autobot." You chuckled and Bee was about to complain when suddenly you both heard the bushes behind you rattle.
You whipped your helm towards the sound, highly alerted. What or who was it? Animal? Autobot or Decepticon?
Animals usually left you alone, but if it was your enemy or your ally then you and Bumblebee could be in serious trouble.
"What is it?" The yellow minibot asked and you frowned as you got up on your pedes, getting ready to act according to what would come from the bushes.
You didn't expect a little humanoid with red pigtails to jump out of the bushes.
"Sari!?" Bumblebee shouted and you squinted your optics at the small human, "Human?"
"Watch out Bumblebee!" The little human girl shouted as she ran and set her small form between you and your lover. Bee looked at her in confusion, "Sari, what are you doing there?"
"You have been acting weird so I followed your signal here!" Human said as she shot you a glare.
"Back off Decepticon! I won't let you hurt my friend!" She shouted and you blinked in confusion as you looked at her and then Bee.
"What should I do? I'm not that familiar with these smarter organics?"
"Look, I'll handle this," Bee quickly said as he leaned down and poked the human girl to get her attention, "Sari, this Con, uh… Is actually my Conjunx?"
The girl whipped her head around and looked at her yellow friend, "A what now?"
"Partner." You offered a helpful answer and the small human looked at you and scowled, "Lies, you're lying! Bumblebee wouldn't date a Con!"
"Actually, Sari…" The minibot Autobot smiled wobbly as he averted his gaze and the tiny human gawked in shock.
"But-! They are a Decepticon!" She shouted.
"Yeah, but they are a good kind of Con!" Bee said as he walked next to you and reached up to pat your shoulder plate, but Sari was having none of that.
"Bumblebee, "Sari took a deep breath before shouting, "They are a Decepticon! They are one of the bad guys!"
"I know, I know, but they are different!"
"How?"
"They are actually really nice!" Bumblebee turned to look at you like he was expecting you to back him up, "Tell Sari how you aren't like most Decepticons!"
You stared at your partner for a second before sighing and turning your attention to a small human.
"What Bumblebee is saying is true. I hold no interest to hurt him or using him to gain an advantage over you Autobots."
"Then why are you with him?" Sari asked and you blinked, "Excuse me?"
"Why not date another Decepticon?"
"I just… He…" You glanced at Bee and smiled, "He makes me laugh unlike anyone else."
You grinned harder at the memory that surfaced in your mind, "I mean, did you know that once he made Blitzwing so mad he melted the ice he had frozen and fell through it to a lake!"
"Wait, he did what?" Sari blinked and you smiled as brightly as this world's sun did, "You haven't heard!? Oh Primus, you have been missing out on a great story!"
"You gotta tell me about it!" Sari said and you smiled as you sat down to tell the story and the little human copied you, sitting down to listen to you tell the story with amazing details.
As you were telling the story of Bumblebee's great battle strategy which was his winning personality, he watched you, his lover, and Sari, one of his best friends bond over the exciting story.
"And, oh yeah, Blitzwing was fuming when we got back to base and he found a fish in his cannon!" You ended the story and you and Sari laughed out loud as you held your stomaches that ached with laughter.
"Oh God, I wish I had seen it!"
"It was hilarious!"
"Yeah, a Decepticon that can laugh at other Cons is a pretty nice change." Sari nodded as she smiled, and you and Bee smiled but then came the big question. Would Sari tell others about you two?
"Sari, uh, this thing between me and them is kind of a secret…? We don't think others will understand and it wouldn't be safe if they knew. We Autobots or Decepticons. You get it right?"
"Are you asking me not to tell Optimus and others?" She asked and the two of you nodded.
"I doubt you Autobots react that drastically, depending on who we are talking about of course, but I would be in a grave situation if Megatron caught me being with Bumblebee." You explained as you frowned lightly.
"Do you think that we can keep this a secret? It would be the three of ours own little secret?"
Of course, you knew that the Autobot ninja called Prowl also knew, but that was your and his secret. Sari looked thoughtful but finally, she smiled and nodded, "Yeah, I think we can keep it as our secret."
"Thank you Sari!" Bumblebee and you cheered and the small human nodded, but then she flinched as if remembering that she was supposed to be a stern friend who was looking out for her friend's well-being.
"Okay, you are alright and we have our secret, but I'm keeping my eye on you. Do anything suspicious to Bee and I won't swear what I will do!"
"I promise, I take good care of my lil Bee." You said with a smile and Sari snorted at the nickname, "Lil Bee."
"Hey, only they get to call me that." Bumblebee shouted and the human grinned, "Yeah, nah ah, fat chance. From this day onwards you are Lil Bee."
"I'm bigger than you!" He shouted.
"So?" Sari grinned, "You're smaller than them!"
As Sari and Bumblebee started to playfully pricker with each other, you were all smiles as you gained a new friend, and your bond with Bumblebee was strengthened.
