Theodore (Ted) Monroe is a pilot and navigator of USS Celesta. Another cinnamon roll with 9 interesting facts.

- he spent few years piloting cargo ships before Starfleet Academy, so he got a lot of useful experience

- Ted is a huge fan of Jim Kirk. He’s read and re-read journals of Enterprise for 10 times at least. Sometimes his knowledge is frightening

- his younger brother is a genius, so he feels little bit in a background. Nevertheless, his family loves him, recognizing his talents and supported him during the transition

- Ted is rather shy and doesn't like to participate actively in conversation in big company. But he is a great listener and talks a lot about the things he loves

- he is from Earth, he was born on in and raised on it. Actually, it’s pretty rare among the main characters and the whole crew

- he loves dogs. His family had 5 dogs when he was a kid and he’s dreaming about having one aboard Celesta but he’s afraid about caring about it alone (and also because of dangers of space)

- his favourite food is apple pie, his favourite drink is denobulan spicy iced tea and his favourite sport is tennis

- actually he is quite afraid of cats. And bees. And spiders. And not following orders. But for his crew and ship he’ll do anything

- Ted is not telling anyone but he is slowly writing research on navigation systems. He took few courses at Academy but didn’t actually have a degree. But he really wants it and spends his free time on it. And he do it in secret because he’s moving very slowly and he’s afraid not to finish it.
