This TED Talk has instilled many things on my mind. The first that education is not the only determinant of life skills. Empowering rural people is best possible through training and workshops. Local knowledge is the base for modern advancement and must be acknowledged.
What I would like to share amongst my peers is that real problems can only be understood if one steps out of their comfort zone. Not to forget that the contribution required for the development of the society is a civic responsibility.
After watching this TED talk I have been thinking of ways to empower and train illiterate people in my country Nepal.
