request: anon: I know requests are probably piling up (me to bro me to), but if you feel like writing a Yan! Teddy Lobo x reader fic where the reader is falling under stalkholm syndrome and is finally showing him affection after only anger and coldness? I have a craving for some odd type fluff if that makes sense. :3 (If you don't want to write this, you don't have to :3)
warnings: yandere behaviour, stockholm syndrome, pet names (reader gets called baby), crying, it's implied that reader has been kidnapped
word count: 541
A/N: similar storyline to another fanfic i wrote but ignore that. i do not in any way support yandere behaviour, please know that this writing is purely fictional, and should not ever be reenacted in real life
The blinding blue light from your phone burned your eyes, bringing upon another wave of tears to fall upon your already wet cheeks. Blinking away the tears, your eyes squinted to read the time displayed on your phone; 2:17 am. It wasn't unlike Teddy to be out so late, as he counted on you being asleep by now, and there was a wide range of things he could keep himself busy with. Still, that didn't stop you from missing him. Any other night you would've savoured the time away from him. But not tonight. You couldn't will yourself to sleep in a bed that felt so cold and empty.
You busied yourself with your phone, mindlessly scrolling in hopes to numb the aching feeling you felt from missing Teddy. You didn't want to miss him. You shouldn't be missing him. Not after the hell he had put you through.
You flinched as the bedroom door flew open, light from the hall seeping into the room and creating a silhouette of your captor. Tears of relief threatened to fall from your eyes but you fought against them. Expecting you to be asleep by now, he was surprised upon seeing your face illuminated by the light from your phone, your tired eyes staring back at him.
"You're awake?" he shut the door behind him, watching as you nodded your head. He peeled his jacket from his body, lazily letting it fall to the ground as he walked toward you, "Why didn't you sleep?"
"I missed you," you mumbled before you could stop yourself.
He paused, not sure if he heard you correctly, "What?"
You placed your phone on the bedside table, leaving you in darkness to lower the chance of Teddy seeing the tear stains on your cheeks "I said I missed you." The words left your mouth quietly, as if Teddy being unable to hear them would make them false. You winced as Teddy turned the lamp on, sitting beside you on the bed.
His eyes narrowed at you, "Fuck, have you been crying?"
A sigh left your lips and you felt more tears threatening to fall, "Yeah."
He smiled at the sight of you, and you chose to ignore the glint in his eyes that suggested he was enjoying this, "Aw, baby."
You didn't fight when his arms wrapped around you, pulling your body close to him. You let your tears fall as you buried your head in his chest. You listened to his whispered words of love and took them to heart, believing him when he said you were safe with him, that he loved you, and would do anything for you.
Teddy's heart swelled at the sight of the teary eyed, snivelling mess of yourself curled up against him. His hands tangled themselves in your hair, relishing your affection after months of your constant aggression and resentment toward him. "It's ok baby," you heard his voice in your ear, sounding the softest it had ever sounded, "My pretty baby, I'm here, I'll always be here. I'm not going anywhere." You knew he meant it. Teddy had slowly but surely made himself an integral part of your life, and he wasn't going to undo his hard work anytime soon.
