A/N: i've been playing Your Boyfriend lately can you tell? i only just finished season 3 of the boys, forgive me if this is ooc i do not in any way support yandere behaviour, please know that this writing is purely fictional, and should not ever be reenacted in real life.

At the sound of the door creaking open and footsteps coming from behind you, you froze. Your hands shook. Your breaths were shallow and rapid. You heard the thump of your racing heartbeat in your head.

"Everythin’ alright, love?"

You twisted your neck to look behind you, nearly choking at the sight of him, much closer than you thought.

Your mouth opened to respond, ease his mind, keep him the fuck away from you, but then it shut, your throat dry as sandpaper as you tried to speak.

You swallowed thickly, trying to keep a calm expression while you feared for your life.

Don't come over don't come over DON'T COME OVER-

"Yep." Your voice was hoarse, your smile stretched across your face as your heart beat raced so loud you panicked that he might hear it.

Seemingly convinced, he nodded and you held in a sigh of relief when he finally fucked off. You watched him until the bedroom door shut behind him. You lifted your hand up, unclenching your fist and setting the two sleeping pills on the countertop. Your hands shook erratically as you grabbed a glass, letting it hover above the pills before bringing the base down, twisting it until you saw the pills disappear into dust.

Your ears strained as you tried to listen for the slightest indication that he had come out of his room and you failed fighting the urge to turn around every five seconds to make sure the door was still shut.

Your hand tightly gripped the porcelain bowl, trying as hard as you could to keep a steady hand as you hovered it beside the countertop while your other hand swept the crushed up pills into the bowl.

You could've stopped there, it would've done the job. But it wouldn't have been enough. He deserved worse. That, and you couldn't bear trying to pull this off and failing. You couldn't leave anything up to chance, especially not with his most likely unhealthily high tolerance for drugs.

You reached up to open the cupboard above you, looking behind to confirm the door was shut, before pulling out a bottle of alcohol. Your hands fumbled with the lid before pouring it in the bowl, watching as it mixed with the powder and praying he wouldn't be able to detect it. You moved to put the bottle away, nearly dropping it as you heard the door creak open followed by footsteps. Continuous footsteps, coming your way.

You shut the pantry door as calmly as you could with your heart racing, and hastily grabbed the ladle and poured soup in the bowl, mixing it in with the sleeping pill powder and alcohol mix, hoping it would successfully hide the poison.

"Dinner's ready." you called out, the tremor in your voice was a dead giveaway to how fearful you really felt. If he heard it, he ignored it.

You poured soup in the other empty bowl, filling it to the same height as the other. The soup managed to hide the poison, which caused your internal panic at the realisation that you used identical bowls with no way to tell them apart. The empty ladle dripped onto the countertop as you stood frozen, desperately trying to think of a solution, when you heard his footsteps right behind you.

"Smells great, love." he towered beside you, grabbing the two bowls and moving them to the table. You felt your heart lurch in your throat, your eyes widening as you stood frozen in shock, unable to will yourself to move.

"Get us some spoons, would ya?"

"Mm-hm." a strained hum vibrated from your throat. You pulled out a pair of soup spoons from the cutlery draw, the metal clanging against each other as you made your way over to the table and sat across from him. You didn't- couldn't meet his eyes as you handed the spoon to him, trying not to jolt back when your fingers brushed against each other. Switching your gaze between the bowl in front of you and the one in front of him, you watched intently as he lifted his soup filled spoon to his mouth and swallowed it.

Hesitantly, you grabbed your own spoon, lowering it into the soup before bringing it up to your mouth. You tried smelling it as inconspicuously as you could manage, and when you couldn't detect anything different, you pushed the spoon past your lips. After swallowing, you kept your eyes on him, watching closely after every mouthful for any sign that the drugs had started taking effect, absent mindedly swallowing spoonful's of your own soup. Too focused to take note of the taste gradually changing with every spoonful.

"You wanna know somethin'?" You hadn't realised your eyelids growing heavy until he spoke and you drowsily looked up to meet his eyes. "You've got one of the worst poker faces I've ever seen."

Your face fell. "What?"

He leaned forward and your eyes widened in fear. Well, as much as they could. That, your surprisingly calm heartbeat, and the smug look in Butcher's eyes filled you with a sense of dread as you slowly realised the worst possible outcome had manifested itself.

"You're a shitty liar, love." The spoon fell from your hand onto the table with a sharp clang that would've made you jump had you not just drugged yourself. "You're lucky it was fuckin' hilarious to watch." You weakly pushed your hands against the table, slightly pushing your chair out, giving yourself enough room to stand up from your seat. One again, you would've been able to had you not drugged yourself. You fell to your knees and your back rested against the leg of the table, doing the opposite of what you intended and making yourself more vulnerable in front of him. "What else is funny, is that you think I wouldn't be able to smell tequila in a bowl of soup."

"'m sorry, ple-please." you desperately, exhaustedly pleaded, as you watched him stand up and tower above you, "I'm sorry..." you breathed out, head lolling forward and eyelids threatening to shut.

You felt his rough hand grip your jaw, and your neck strained upward to meet his gaze. "I know you're pretty messed up right now... I should just let you sleep this off." Your eyes strained looking for the slightest indication of forgiveness or pity in his eyes. You found none. "But then how would you learn?"

His hand dropped your jaw and before you could beg, he tightly gripped your wrist, tugging you along behind him and ignoring the string of mumbled pleas falling from your lips. You groaned in pain at the bruise forming around your wrist and the stinging stretch working its way up your arm.

You scrunched your eyebrows in confusion as your body made contact with the cool bathroom tiles, and your eyes squinted at the bright white light. He tugged you along until you were lying in front of the toilet and you felt your stomach drop. His arms roughly maneuvered your body so you were slumped over it, propped up by your elbows resting on the rim. He knelt down behind you, pressing his chest against your back as his hand gripped your jaw once more.

"No-no-no-no-" in your drugged up state you struggled to fight back, easily overpowered by his strong grip.

"Just shut the fuck up," with his free hand, he brought his middle and forefinger together and pushed them past your lips to the back of your throat, muffling your desperate pleas, "Or you'll make it hurt worse.

You cried against his hand, tears stinging your eyes as his fingers violated your throat. Your body heaved forward as you gagged, your eyes squeezed shut in pain as the movement only pushed his fingers in further. Your muffled cries of pain were cut off with a final gag, and your stomach emptied itself; soup, alcohol, dissolved sleeping pills, and stomach acid splattered against the bowl. The smell burned your nostrils. Your once drooping eyes were wide open and fille with tears.

His hand dropped your jaw and he repositioned himself to kneel beside you, watching you flop like a ragdoll without his support before steadying yourself.

"Try somethin' like this again and I'll break your hands." you flinched at the sound of his voice, deep, threatening, and full of malice right in your ear, "You're lucky I like you enough to give you warnings."

You flinched again when his hand reached up to your face, patting your cheek condescendingly before standing up and walking off, "Clean yourself up." The switch from his dark, threatening voice to the casual, easy-going voice he spoke with made you want to scream. The burn in your throat stopped that.

You listened out for his footsteps until they faded into silence. Bringing your knees to your chest, you lowered your head in between your arms before quietly sobbing. Each sound was muffled by your arms and stung the back of your aching throat.

You sure didn't feel too lucky.

honestly in the era of AI slop it is more important than ever for you to write or draw that incredibly niche/strange/unpalatable thing you want to make. the world needs the unique weirdness of people more than ever

writing advice i live by (as someone who writes as a hobby):

your first draft is allowed to be awful. let it be awful, you can always improve it later.

if you’re writing as a hobby, it should be enjoyable and not feel like a chore.

if you’re stuck on a scene and can’t get the words out, skip it. write a note for yourself to come back to it later and move on to the next scene. sometimes you just need to look away from the scene and come back to it with a fresh pair of eyes for the words to flow again.

that also applies to finding the right words and metaphors.

consuming media is one of the best cures for writer’s block.

another thing that helps writer’s block is asking yourself: “what is the most fun/best/most devastating thing that could happen next?”

do not rush your writing. quality work takes time, so don’t ever beat yourself up for being a “slow writer”. it’s always worth taking your time building the right plot and finding the right words to make something you’re proud of.

you’re allowed to take a break from your writing. writing is hard work and burn out happens. take a break if you need, and come back to it when you’re ready. writing is not a race.

writing a story/plot you love > molding your plot to trendy tropes you don’t enjoy.

when you’re writing as a hobby, your work doesn’t need to be perfect. it just needs to make you happy. that’s it.

having more words doesn’t mean higher quality work. don’t feel bad for having a low word count.

if you like your own story, chances are others will too.

when he first realises he likes you - genuinely, romantically likes you - he starts stressing

he doesn't really like feeling anything real

he suppresses it and starts treating you like shit, that way no one will know that he likes you (not to mention he lives for the attention you give him)

not one of his best ideas...

when that inevitable stops working, he finds the courage to not exactly apologise, but start treating you normally again

if you confront him about it then he'll apologise, but he most likely won't apologise if you don't say anything

makes the first move when you're both out at a party or a club, that way he can drown his sorrows in alcohol and fuck someone he never has to see again to distract himself if you reject him

thankfully you don't, and you spend the night at his place

you two make a routine out of it, you spend some nights at his place, he spends some nights at your place

then some of those nights don't end in sex like usual, and you notice how his kisses gradually change from rough and passionate to gentle and loving until he eventually asks you out

extremely insecure but don't tell anyone (everyone knows)

around his friends/the pod he talks a big game about essentially being a slut (affectionate) when in reality he doesn't know what he'd do without you and hates thinking about you leaving him, or your relationship not ending well

hates to even think about the fact that you’ve had a significant impact on his life but you're incredibly important to him

he denies it but he can get extremely jealous

if you're out together and someone approaches you he gets super touchy

even more if the person (who gets a very cold glare from your boyfriend) starts flirting with you

in the early stages of dating he buys you tons of gifts cause he's not good at showing affection any other way

but once you get closer with him you unlock his second love language: physical touch!!

however he hates being the one to initiate it

he feels like he needs to be holding your hand at all times, but the most he'll do is bump his hand against yours until you get the hint that he wants to hold hands

in terms of his work, he's super smart and not one to think or act irrationally. with you however, he can be incredibly stupid

takes you on expensive and extravagant dates (he’s worried he’s not worthy of your time otherwise)

gets really attached to you really fast, but it takes a long time for him to get comfortable enough to be vulnerable and talk about his feelings with you

circling back to the insecure thing, after you’ve been dating for a while he may end up distancing himself from you

he worries that like most people, you’ll get sick of him and break up with him so this is his defence mechanism

being really dry over text, coming home late, cancelling plans, being even less affectionate to make it less hard on him when you inevitably break up with him

but doing all that makes him feel much worse than he originally did so he gives an honest explanation and a genuine apology

keeps it simple with pet names, calls you 'babe'/'baby' usually in public and when other people he knows can hear him

when he's alone with you and feeling comfortable he adds a 'my' in front of 'baby' and uses adjective nicknames like beautiful, handsome, gorgeous, sexy, words reserved for you and you only

loves sharing a bed with you and not just in terms of having sex (though he loves that too)

just loves the feeling of having you so close to him, knowing he can just reach out and feel you

loves resting with you, holding you close and feeling safe in each others arms

It had been weeks since your disappearance. The only time anyone had seen your face was from the pictures in the missing person posters. The remaining ones anyway. Leo didn’t have any bad intentions when he took down the first one, he’ll swear on his life. You just looked so pretty in that photo, he felt it was unfair he didn’t have his own copy. The other ones he took down… he had less than good intentions. He just couldn’t stand hearing people constantly talking about you when they saw a poster. Those people never cared about you before, why would they care now? They were clearly just trying to use you for their own gain, make people think that they’re caring and kind. It made him sick. Not to mention one of the main reasons he took you in the first place was to keep you away from all those fake people. Now you’ve got all this attention from people thinking they’re your friends and pretending to care about you. But they don’t.

”How do you know that?! Why do you find it so hard to believe that other people might like me?!”

Leo took a few deep breaths. He didn’t want to yell, he’d end up scaring you or you just wouldn’t listen. “It’s not that. My point is that they haven’t proved that they care about you. Pretending to miss and worry about someone doesn’t prove anything.”

”And you’ve proved that you care about me? By kidnapping me? By stealing my missing person posters so no one looks for me?!” you felt like like you might explode. Leo felt a similar feeling, but at least he did a good job hiding it.

“This isn’t kidnapping!” you knew how much he hated that word, yet you kept using it. And it’s not like he wanted you to see the posters. He just forgot to take them out of his bag before letting you look through his books. Gosh, the things he did for you. Borrowing as many books as he could get from the library, squeezing them into his bag, dragging them all the way from school to the sewers just to keep you entertained while he was on patrol or at school. You really didn’t know how lucky you had it. You should’ve been grateful he took down so many posters. More deep breaths. You never responded well to the ‘you’re ungrateful and should appreciate me more’ routine for whatever reason. He needed a different approach, and fast. "Please," he kept his voice soft and passive, not wanting to upset you any more, "Just try to see this from my perspective."

You stared at him. If looks could kill, he'd be six more feet underground than he already was, "Are you fucking kidding me?"

Leo's eyes widened slightly at your outburst, so much for not upsetting you, "Hey-"

"I need to see this from your perspective? Yeah, maybe I do, wh-what exactly is your perspective? Cause I'd love to know how you think you're some fucking saint for kidnapping and isolating me from my family and friends that you think don't exist."

More deep breaths. "I-I told you I don't like that word-"

Your head tilted and you stared at him with mock pity, "Oh you did, didn't you. Well I told you that I didn't like getting kidnapped but I guess neither of us care about what each other wants."

"Y/N-" he went to speak, maybe to argue, or try and reason with you, he didn't know.

"I don't care," you raised your voice, "I don't fucking care that you're too much of a coward to own up to your own mistakes, I don't care that you have some fucked up hero complex that you let control your life, I don't, just leave me out of it!"

He didn't think. A wave of panic rushed over him as you yelled and continued yelling. He didn't know what his brothers would do if they saw you but he didn't want to find out. He reached out his hand to cover your mouth, a split second decision made in hopes to keep you quiet. But in his panicked state he underestimated his own strength, knocking you to the ground. His hand covered his mouth and a gasp left his lips as your head collided with the concrete wall, your cries of pain sounding like nails on a chalkboard to his ears. 

"Y/N!" he took a few steps before falling to his knees beside you. His heart sank as he watched you attempt to shuffle back from him, tears beginning to brim your eyes. "I'm so sorry." he whispered, carefully wrapping his arms around your shoulders, holding you as close as you would let him. Tears filled his eyes as he heard your sobs of pain, your tears streaming down your face and dripping onto his skin. He'd seen you cry before, but it was never without distractions. You'd yell, glare, or insult him to distract him from your tear-filled eyes. But not this time. Whether you were in too much pain to distract him or not, he wished you weren't. He'd give anything to look at something other than the heavy tears falling from your eyes, to listen to anything but the sobs leaving your lips. He considered leaving. Not for long and definitely not for good, just long enough for him to collect his thoughts and prepare to properly care for your head. But seeing you now, looking so hurt, so small. You needed him just as much as he needed you.

His thumb gently rubbed up and down your shoulder in an attempt to comfort the both of you. The feel of your skin beneath his fingers always helped ground him. He'd treat whatever damage had been inflicted upon you later. For now he just needed to hold you. His whispers of sweet nothings in your ear helped him more than you. As he held your shaking body to his chest, he told himself over and over again that you were his. Even if he hurt you, you were still his.

Leo exhaled heavily, staring at his reflection in the mirror. He whispered to himself 'you got this,' over and over like a mantra. He was so nervous, nothing could calm him down. You were in the sewers with him, he couldn't even imagine being calm. He gave up on calming his nerves, deciding to greet you as he was, jittery and giddy. He entered the secluded part of the sewers he cleared out just for you, not being able to contain his smile as he met your eyes - your mouth being covered with the gag he gave you. You didn't look as excited as he was...  You were probably just confused, that was all. Once Leo explained everything, you'd be smiling in no time. He neared closer to you, frowning at the way you shuffled back toward the wall, but he rationalised that you were just too excited to meet him, and was just as giddy as he was.

"HEy." Leo internally cringed at the crack in his voice, but kept a calm face in front of you, "Sorry for keeping you tied up so long, I had to finish up some stuff with my brothers." he paused, before realisation dawned on him, "Oh and sorry for keeping that gag on you for so long," he walked your way, stopping in front of you to untie the gag, "I knew you'd be confused and I didn't want you to hurt your throat by-"

"What the fuck are you doing?!" Leo jumped back when you yelled, not prepared for your hostility. 

"Hey," he looked behind him, double checking no one else was near, "Y/N, you need to keep it down, or I'm gonna have to put the gag back on, and I really don't wanna do that." he said, almost pleading with you.

"You have thirty seconds to explain to me what you think you're doing." you spat, glaring at Leo to hide the fear in your eyes. You did stay quiet, so Leo did appreciate that.

He nodded, exhaling quickly, "Ok, so we go to the same school, I dunno if you've ever noticed me, you probably haven't-"

"Yeah, I never noticed four turtle mutants at my school." 

Leo instantly perked up, "So you have noticed me?" you said nothing, staring at him with a frustrated look, "Right, never mind. I- You just looked so lonely at school, I figured you needed a friend."

You scoffed, and Leo didn't miss the feeling of pure fear in your voice that you tried to cover up, "So your first thought is to kidnap me?"

Leo cringed, "Can you maybe not use that word?"

Your eyebrows raised, “Kidnap?” he nodded, "No, because it's the exact word to describe what you're doing."

”Well you’re making me out to be some kind of monster. I just…” he sighed, “I really like you and I thought I could be your friend, or something…”

”Well you could’ve been if not for the kidnapping.”

He brought his hands to his face, laughing awkwardly, “Can you stop? I’m trying to help you, it’s not my fault you’re not taking this well.” he saw your unconvinced expression and stood up, beginning to pace around the room “I’m a hero, you know I’m a hero. My brothers and I saved the city. I'm trying to do a good thing for you, and I really want you to be happy down here, with me. So can you just stop being so negative?"

You just stared at him speechless. You realised pretty quickly that you wouldn't be able to convince him that what he was doing was wrong. It seemed his mind was made up. But you also noticed that he seemed pretty determined to keep you happy, and was convinced that you weren't happy without him.

"Leo listen to me," you began, seeing the corners of his lips turn up slightly at the fact that you knew his name, "I know you think you're helping me or whatever, but you're really not. I'm fine, I really am. You-you can let me go, and I won't tell anyone about this, I swear." you couldn't stop the tears forming in your eyes. You didn't want him to know, but you were truly terrified.

He narrowed his eyes at you, "What do you mean? I-I'm helping. I don't understand why you wouldn't think that..." you opened your mouth to speak but he quickly cut you off, "I-is this because I'm a mutant?"

You furrowed your eyebrows, "What?"

"You just think I'm some kind of monster, don't you?" he asked, a hurt look in his eyes as he stared at you.

"Leo, you're not listening to me-" you attempted to say, but Leo cut you off again.

"Well I'm sorry I'm not a human, but last I checked, no human cares enough about you to give you this kind of help." he scoffed, turning around and beginning to walk away.

"Leo, what are you doing?" you asked fearfully, pulling on the ropes around your hands.

He turned back to meet your eyes, "If you hate me so much, I'll just leave you alone then."

You suppress a groan of frustration, "Can you just-"

Leo turned around sharply, a sharp glare sent your way, but you could still see the hope in his eyes, "Just what? If you're gonna yell at me again, I don't wanna hear it."

Pink. Your eyes slowly fluttered open and you were meant with pink. This wasn’t your room. You went to sit up, but were quickly stopped by the pink, fluffy handcuffs that bound your wrists to the bed frame. You tried to retrace your memory, maybe figure out what you could’ve done to end up here, but your mind was foggy and your head ached, only worrying you more. You looked to your side - and were met with more pink - and tried to find anything familiar that could clue you in on where you were. Whoever lived here mustn’t have been neat, or had been in a hurry before you got here, as clothes were draped and discarded across the carpet in a messy fashion. You blinked before your eyes focused on a pastel pink hoodie on the floor. Your mind was still mushy as you struggled to think of where you had seen it before, when the door was pushed open. You tried sitting up, failing once again due to the handcuffs still locked tightly to your wrists. Tilting your neck up as much as you could, a gasp left your lips as you were met with a familiar face.

”Angel! Oh of course this is your room, I can’t believe it took me so long.” you exclaimed with a laugh, your heart rate picking up as Angel sauntered closer to the bed. He stopped when he heard your chipper voice, his face morphing into one of confusion.

”Yeah, um…” he took a few seconds before regaining his composure, “So I bet you’re wondering why you’re here…”

You smiled, heat rising to your cheeks, “Kind of, yeah.”

Were you that dumb or just really kinky? Angel shook his head as he made his way to the bed. He lifted himself onto the bed and straddled your waist, his hand cupping your cheek as he stared down at you. “I’ve always liked you Y/N.” he ignored the way you poorly hid your smile, “You’re cute, and sweet. And I’m not willing to share you with anyone else.”

"So you kidnapped me?" you asked, eyes widening slightly at his words. 

He nodded, looking like he was about to say something else, before he paused at the sound of the handcuff rattling, and looked to see one of your hands pointing straight upwards. “The fuck- are you fuckin raising your hand?”

”I didn’t wanna interrupt, I thought you were gonna say something-“

“Just say it.” he sighed. He wasn’t mad at your reactions, just confused. He knocked you out, kidnapped you, handcuffed you, and heavily implied that he was in love with you. You can’t just not notice that many red flags.

”Sorry, um,” you swallowed, eyes shifting as you avoided eye contact. You were surprised he couldn’t hear your heartbeat racing, “when you say like me and don’t wanna share me, is that romantically? Like, in a possible boyfriend way?”

”Yeah?”

”Ok, great, just making sure.” you smiled nervously.

”Is this seriously your reaction to getting kidnapped?”

You shrugged slightly, “You’re the one kidnapping me so yeah…”

”You get that I’m gonna like, not let you leave, or see or talk to anyone else?” he asked, his eyebrows raising in surprise as he watched you nod your head, taking note of the small smile on your lips. “Really?” you shivered with excitement as his lips twisted into a smirk, “So you won’t mind if I keep you tied up? If I…” a small gasp left your lips as his gloved hands gently caressed up and down your waist. “touch you?” his other hands quickly moved to your thighs, your arms, your chest, trying to feel as much of your body as his 4 arms could. “You wouldn’t mind if I…” he leant down, his lips hovering just above yours, before his lips hungrily kissed yours, like he’d been waiting to kiss you since the moment he laid eyes on you. Though that idea wasn’t too far fetched all things considered. “Kissed you?”

You caught your breath in small, rapid breaths as you felt your cheeks burning. Managing to shake your head, you whimpered a small, “No.” From the heat radiating from your cheeks and your racing heartbeat, anyone would’ve thought you’d just ran a marathon.

”Good.” Angel’s smirk widened, his eyes on you like a predator admiring its prey before it feasts. In a way that’s all you were now. You belonged to him, existed only for him to enjoy, but you wouldn’t have it any other way. You’d smile with his teeth in the side of your neck, your head empty of anything but him as he drained the life from your body. His lips smashed against yours hard enough to leave a bruise. His hands continued their exploring, determined to feel every inch of your body and claim it as his own. "Stay that way and I might be nicer."

A/N: i started writing last night for like 10 minutes before i went to bed, then woke up and spent like two hours finishing this so it’s not very thought out. Please forgive

You miss the sound of birds chirping in the morning, the gentle sounds coaxing you out of your sleep. Now you’re awoken by car engines and horns thanks to the Lobo mansion being located in one of the busiest parts of New Orleans. There are a few pluses to your new morning routine. There are no birds, however Teddy Lobo’s scrawny, inked up arms draped around your body each morning is a fine replacement.

You love waking up next to Teddy. With just you and half-awake him, he has no need for the various masks he wears around everyone else. You get to see his true self before his need to impress or intimidate everyone takes over.

The sun peeking in through the blinds eventually wakes him up, much to his dismay as he groans and hides his head in his pillow. He then lifts his head from his pillow and his eyes meet yours. You smile softly, watching his expression soften as he finds his reason to be grateful that the sun woke him up. He stares at you, his eyes taking in every detail of your face that he’s too scared to ever take for granted.

His arms tighten around you as he pulls you closer, allowing him to rest his head on your shoulder. He looks up at you with his big brown eyes and you watch him practically melt as your hand finds itself in his hair, taking advantage of its softness and messiness before he has the chance to soak it with hair product and slick it back. You ask him about the dream he had last night. He never remembers unless you were in it. You listen as he terribly explains the plot of his dream, knowing less than you did before you asked. You just smile and nod.

You barely notice the cars anymore. His head feels so right resting against your shoulder, your hands never want to leave his hair, your legs are tangled together and fit like puzzle pieces under the sheets. Teddy has this habit of always being the center of attention, but he doesn't even need to try to be the center of yours.

In another life neither of you would be here. You’d live somewhere quieter, away from this life, where Teddy wouldn’t live off of his mothers approval, or need drug’s multiple times a day just to cope. You know Teddy wants that life. You’ve had a short conversation about it. But this life is too important, too complicated for him to even think about leaving. It comes to you in dreams some nights. The house, only big enough for the two of you, a small garden filled with ingredients to cook together with, a pet that takes up 80% of the bed and forces you and Teddy to hold each other tightly. Dreams you don’t dare tell Teddy about. That life exists in your dreams and no matter how hard you want it, it probably only ever will. But for now, the noise isn’t so bad with Teddy.

teddy loves halloween

will literally BEG to wear a matching couples costume with you

he'll find you breathtaking no matter what you wear 

he may or may not do it on purpose but his costume ends up looking a little slutty

whatever makeup your costumes need, teddy insists on doing each others makeup

but he ends up flustered from being so close to you

your makeup may end up looking not so good

whether your costume ends up being more modest or not, teddy will end up fighting anyone who has anything negative to say about how you look

like yeah his bark is much worse than his bite, but he won’t hesitate to cuss anyone out if they so much as give you a dirty look

if he ends up getting high or drunk (he most likely will) then a fight will escalate very quickly and turn physical

as concerning as his possessiveness paired with his unearned confidence can be, it’s kind of sweet watching him defend you and risk getting a black eye or bloody nose

yes he goes all out decorating the lobo mansion

no you're not helping him, this is the perfect opportunity to show off his 'strength'

when he lifts something and tells you how heavy it was please just congratulate him, it'll make him shut up sooner

he constantly asks you if you like what he's done or not, while also insisting that he knows better about decorating

you'll most likely end up being taken out to a party or a club with teddy

where he literally will not shut up about how good you look, and brags to everyone that you're together

but if parties and crowds aren’t something you’re comfy with or they’re just not your thing, he’ll stay at home with you for a quieter night in together

there are a few parents in new orleans who just don’t care enough about their children, so you end up getting a few trick or treaters at the lobo mansion

he gets bored in between waiting for more trick or treaters and nearly eats all the candy

in his defence, he was left unsupervised (as you were literally right next to him attempting to take the candy bowl from him)

it’s funny watching teddy not know how to interact with kids (you half expected him to bring out a bowl of little baggies of cocaine for trick or treaters)

and since he’s being deprived of people to brag about you to, he ends up yapping to these poor kids about how he’s dating you

tries using gen alpha/brainrot slang. fails miserably

you give the kids extra candy for their troubles and drag teddy inside

to satisfy his need to brag about you to people, he posts nearly hundreds of photos of you and him in your costumes (mainly you with not so subtle indications that he was with you when the photos were taken)

gets so excited about carving pumpkins with you 

buys pumpkins to carve and gets soooo pissy when he's not immediately perfect at it

even more so if yours turns out better than his

eventually he’ll act like he doesn’t care about it - as if it wasn’t his idea - and he’ll carve like a penis or something dumb on his pumpkin

if you watch a scary movie that doesn’t scare you, teddy tries acting so tough and brave when he’s attempting to sneakily hide behind you for half of the movie

if you’re scared by the movie he’s so relieved. he makes fun of you at first, and denies being scared when he’s literally hiding under a blanket with you

the night ends with lots of cuddling as teddy talks your ear off before eventually drifting off to sleep
