i was on my way back home on the bus and accidentally fell asleep. i was woken up by the bus driver telling me to get off so, half asleep, i dragged myself off the bus, not really thinking about where i was. until it hit me. was that man over there... a.. fish? no. i wandered around for a bit, until i found a bar. it was pretty busy, and everyone in there were marine animals too. there was this guy sitting at the bar by himself. he didnt look to mean so i tapped him on the shoulder and turned around. he had a big scar up his chin, and big pointy ears. he was also a lot taller than i expected.
The man was obviously taller than the average human. It was a bit off-putting, especially considering that he looked sort of "unfriendly".
The man turned his head and looked down at the person in front of him. His eyes widened a little and his fins perked up.
Was that a human? How— Humans only lived on the surface, did they not? How could this guy breathe down here? Whatever. He decided to put that aside for the time being.
He looked around before speaking to the human.
"...Hello. You uh...ya lost or somethin'?"
He shifted in his seat, slightly confused.
