a/n: okay so i did not finish this as soon as intended since i've been so busy, and idk if anyone really wants this, but here it is!! there is a criminal lack of teela content here and I will be working to remedy that. also lemme know if you want any nsfw hcs, i have some ideas (asks are open!!)

the relationship probably started with you and adam already together, with teela coming in as your third

if we are going off childhood bsf!adam, the relationship started right before he goes back to eternia, and once reunited with teela, everyone catches feelings

it's a lot of discussions about boundaries and open communication about what yall are comfortable with (bless adam and his hr interpersonal communication skills)

but once everyone is comfortable and established it's super soft

as we've seen, adam is pretty openly affectionate, but teela is a little less open about it

that's not to say she isn't affectionate!!! when she's in the comfort and privacy of her quarters or in your's/adam's room in the palace, she's hugs and kisses galore

most of the time, since you're most comfortable living with adam, you stay with him and teela comes to spend the night, but sometimes you and adam go over to her's and sleep over

since everything is pretty openly communicated, jealousy doesn't come up much, but surprisingly (or not), adam is the more jealous one

when he sees other people trying to hit on you or teela, he gets insecure and a smidgen withdrawn, mostly because he spent so long on earth as an outcast

after a long day, teela can get pretty worn out with all her duties tending to eternos and coming up with plans to defeat skeletor, and when she's tired, she's the biggest cuddle bug

she won't want to admit it, but she latches on hard to you and will keep you trapped in her lap or laying on her chest until she has to go back to work

all in all, it's one of the healthier relationships you'll see because everyone is so good about voicing their feelings

i cant stop thinking about teela with neurodivergent reader (specifically adhd because i have it and im lowk basing thjs off myself)

like teela is desperately trying to get reader to learn about the different weapons their are and what their uses are but readers been listening for what feels like hours (its been 30 minutes) and is starting to get bored because they lowkey already dont care much for the weapons and just want to start actually sparing

or like reader is stuck in their room cause their hyper fixated on something random and they cant pull away cause if they do they're gonna forget everything and then have to start their entire research deepdive all over again

or like if teela catches reader after their research deep dive and reader literally cant help making everything about said current hyperfix
